New Development for Stockport Road 5 New Homes at Stockport Road/ Bollington Street. Artists Impression of the new houses. West Pennine Housing Association is building 5 new three bed houses on vacant land between Stockport Road and Bollington Street. This small development is the final piece in the development jigsaw for Ashton’s West End. The construction of the other 38 houses is under way and Lovell’s, West Pennine’s developer/partner will soon be moving onto this site. The build time for these houses is approx 15 months from Feb 2008. These five three bed houses will have their front doors onto Stockport Road but the main garden area and parking will be accessed from Bollington Street. Indicative prices for rent and shared ownership are available elsewhere on this web site. It is hoped that as the development proceeds West Pennine HA will be able to confirm the rents and prices for the properties. The Council has an agreement with West Pennine to offer all accommodation to local people and we are now operating a database of interest.
